Introducing Calvin, an outgoing, friendly 22 year old young man. He had the misfortune to break his kneecap bone when he fell on a rock while playing soccer. His family could not afford the surgery that he needed. Luckily, through the donations provided by Friends of SOAP, we were able to fund his surgery! Drs. Bobby, Ani, and Josef were able to repair his broken kneecap while teaching the Tanzanian residents and reinforcing minimally invasive technique! Calvin has been most grateful that his surgery was done and is looking forward to getting back to playing soccer! It has been a joy getting to know him!
